Today, the short answer is no. But it is absolutely something we are working on.

And, if you are handy, we do provide an explicit link on each of your panels to itself, so that you can drop it in an iframe or work out a wrapper to place it on your site – like this:

Thanks again for the invite… I’m tinkering around a bit, but I must be missing something. I’m wanting to keep track of a number (current weight) and track how it changes over the course of time, with a new number entered daily. Ideally, the line graph would have the weight on the y-axis with the date on the x. Is that possible?

rr – we don’t currently have a display that does exactly that… stacked line graph would be the closest. But if you enter your weight each day, it will get saved as the current day, and in the coming weeks we hope to have new display options that will suit your needs a bit better.

Great stuff, thanks for the invite. I have been doing a bit of fiddling. The hardest thing is trying to figure out what I can actually record and what stuff is actually cool to record and display in some form of graph.

I’m dying to be let into the beta. I’ve been running a simple Morale-O-Meter site for a few years and have never found the time to take it to the next level like you have here. Today, I found out that I accidentally deleted some not-backed-up files that I’ll have to re-write, and I also found out that you’re letting people into the beta… I think I might just encourage everyone to move over here as this is clearly the future.

Looking forward to playing around with this more as soon as more people are let in. So awesome.

arthur – we will ultimately allow you to add more panels, but are maintaining a conservative limit through the coming months.

buster – you’ve been doing great work yourself, and I’m sorry to hear about the lost files – but would obviously welcome you to daytum if it fits your needs… I know how I intend to use the site, but it’s our hope that we’ve created an architecture that’s open enough to appeal to all types of data keepers, from mood-trackers to bird-watchers. And it shouldn’t be too long until we can provide a little direction for your second question.

I was wondering if it would be allowing links within panels again at any point or if they’re gone for good? Not allowing other bits of html I can understand, but links would be useful.

It’s shaping up to be something really great, anyway.

AJT – we will be allowing weblinks, but we’ve removed it for the moment while we prepare a new feature for the site… it does mean that linking from an item name is not going to reappear… sorry for the inconvenience!

don’t want to be a nag(/nerd) but thought you might find useful… two end carets missing on your div’s (index col left and right) on the terms of service page…

or maybe that’s just my way of requesting an invite?

Management – It would be lovely to be able to upload custom icons, which is currently not working. Do you have a bug report form or forum for us beta testers so that we can help you track things down?

We are looking at forum / report options at the moment for feedback, and will let you know when we’ve established a better forum than the comments!

Nicholas, Thanks for fixing it. As you can see, it now works. Another possible solution would be integrating gravitars.

FWIW I got a copy of Vanilla up with lots of customizations on my personal website in less than an hour. Very slick and web 2.0ish.

Just got the invitation and started using, and it is spectacular. My question is if there’s any way I can change my user name? I used my own name to register, but now I see the potential for my blog and would like to change the user name to my blog’s name. Hopefully I’m not going to need to re-register.
