The API is underway (we owe you an update on all the work progressing currently). Hopefully this will bring many more data-entry ideas to life.

Are there any intentions (whether with an API or otherwise) for a user to set their own parameters??
I realize this could make things way more complicated, nonetheless, it would be fun to set values and be more specific when entering data.
Just curious.

Hello JuryDuty - the next two items out of the gate will be the iPhone app and the API, they are currently underway, and we hope to make an announcement about the timing within the next few weeks. - Nicholas.

Hi Daytum! Haven't heard anything in about 4 months. Would you mind giving us an update on the API, upcoming features, ideas of when we might see any new developments? We love your service and any assurance and hints would be great. --JD

The devs have said they're working on the API now, which would allow for widgets, gadgets, etc. Here's hoping it comes out soon!
