Got my invite a few weeks ago. Thanks so much. This place is another creative outlet to keep me busy during work. I found out about this site through an infographics issue IDN that had an article on Nicholas. I've always been in awe of your work. I look forward to see whats next for Daytum and look forward to your 2008 annual report.

Thanks Elyse... We are sending out invites every day, and trying to get to open enrollment by about mid-december. Currently the wait for an invite is about 4 weeks, but is getting shorter and shorter as we approach the end of the year, since we don't want anyone to miss out on being able to track 2009.

Best, Nicholas.

Sounds fantastic! Nicholas, I've been following your work for years and this looks amazing. Any news on when you'll have more invites out?

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the invite. I love super minimalist design. Having played with it today there's one thing that would really help comparative data display - the ability to create a data-set based on an item or sub-totals of other data-sets. I imagine its something which will be on the way.

This is going to be a daily addiction now.
Thanks

just got my invite today and have already started getting familiar with the site and its functionality. I would love to be able to have larger subsets of information. for example, an entire set of panels for work habits, eating habits, ect...
specifically, im interested in tracking is sources of information used for career development. Such as types of sites and books im reading, number of times ive referenced them/ pages read, unique or applicable findings, ect. along with all the other daily's that can be tracked.

from what im seeing the current set up really interesting because people are getting pretty creative with what information they are juxtaposing together for a singe panel display...

anywho, spot on guys. much thanks:)

Excellent progress so far.

I'd like to suggest adding the ability to geocode an item in a dataset, and generate a kind of map/chart combo display.

For example, a dataset that lists the number of drinks consumed at particular pubs (http://daytum.com/panels/2994) would render a Google map with markers placed at each pub, with a bar graph associated with each marker.

Thanks Julie... embedding panels is high on our priority list, but it's a little bit complicated, because unlike a vimeo video or last.fm embed, our panels change size to accommodate your content... but we will figure it out, and let you know when you can put them into your site.

Cheers, Nicholas

First off, I'm really digging the updates -- being able to see the individual entries is super-helpful. But I thought of throwing in some requests :) Any chance of adding an embed feature for placing a panel on a personal website? Also, for this, re-sizeable panels would be AWESOME.
